butterflies

We have a few crown flower plants in the yard, which attracted LOTS of monarch butterflies, the caterpillars ate nearly every leaf, thankfully that plant grows super fast, and by the time the first wave began to make their chrysalises then the plants had recovered. Our yard is almost always filled with butterflies. It's so pretty to see them fluttering in every direction. 50 or more butterflies probably hatched in our yard in 2 months. 

We watched so many hatch and flap and unfold their wings, still stiff and wet.  We loved it.
