On December 21st, we took the kids to a labyrinth to walk and meditate on the solstice. It took us almost an hour to walk the whole thing and we ended in the middle with some ladies who were chanting and singing and it was so fun. The kids all joined in too, and it was a fun way to start the winter.
Lullaby loves to play make-up, and sometimes gets Sully to be her model.
The kids all got presents at our homeschool group, and they loved it! So fun!
The kids used their Christmas money to buy Legos mostly. They spent several days after Christmas putting them all together. So fun!
Sometimes Solace sneaks into our bedroom and falls asleep. It's always a surprise to come into our room and find him passed out there. Such a sweet boy.
Lots of family game time, even Swishy likes to join us when we play.
More of the bathroom renovations. Hooray!
When Paul wants to get more work done and texts me from upstairs before 6:00am, this is the picture I sent back to him.
The missionaries came over to teach us a little lesson and the kids loved it. Object lessons can be so impactful.
The kids lost a balloon in this tree/bush. It's orange, and you can just barely see it. Our resident monkey, Hawken, tried his hardest, but couldn't get it. He had to use two trunks to climb up, but Solace was able to scramble up just one trunk and get the balloon. We have a new monkey in the family.
