The day after Thanksgiving, our favorite guy had his birthday! Paul had to work, bummer, but we showered him with gifts and he loved them all, especially his warm fuzzy slippers. (It does get cold here in the mornings.)
His birthday also falls on a new holiday, called Wolfenoot, which we also celebrated. So he got a full moon cake (with a wolf howling), it's the best I could do with store bought goodies... and we met up with some friends at the ice cream shop near his work. So fun! Happy birthday Paul, we love you!!
The last parts of Wolfenoot are that people who are nice to dogs get a small prize, and we howl at the moon. So Paul and I hid a small prize for our dog loving kids and when they all found them, we howled. Such a silly and fun new holiday. Happy Birthday Paul, and Have a Howly Wolfenoot to you.
