This is how to prune a tree in Dominica. :)

First, have 1 of your crew climb the tree, no harnesses or safety equipment in case you fall, just climb it, Jungle Book style. Make sure that guy has a machete and 1 end of a rope. Tie it to a branch you want to trim, then have the other crew members tie the other end of the rope to the truck. Not a fancy truck, just the small 2 person pick-up that you had all 6 crew arrive in.

Make sure that 1 person in your crew has a hard hat, it looks official that way. Have someone drive the truck so the branch almost breaks, then have the guy in the tree hack at it with his machete until it snaps.

Now, repeat until the tree is pruned and looks completely ridiculous. Then make sure to clean up about half of the branches and leave the rest to decorate the road for a few days.
