I think this was day 3 of my mom's and Louie's vacation... They wanted to take us out to eat. Paul and I are not fans of entertaining our boys at restaurants where they are expected to be quiet, while staying up past their bedtime to eat some boring food. The boys go to bed so early, and we don't like fighting that or settling and going to eat at 4pm to compensate. :) Anyway, we went to Chuck E. Cheese as a compromise. Not exactly what they meant when they said they wanted to take us out, but the boys had fun, and we had fun talking over the excited screams of all the kids.
Matix had fun up in the tunnels with Grandma Kim. It was hilarious watching them crawl around up there. :) You're a good sport grandma.
The boys even got to play a few games. Both Matix and Hawken caught on quickly to the token thing. Although Hawken wanted to hoard them, and Matix couldn't spend them quick enough. :)
Matix even liked the big Chuck E.... Disney World, here we come! :)
They liked the ticket munchers just as much as the real games.
Hawken picking out his prizes.
I really liked it there, although we stayed out past the boys bedtimes, and they were cranky on the drive back, I think it was fun. Thanks for dinner. :)

That was a lot of fun. When Matix and I were up in the tubes, we knocked on the window to get your attention. Nobody heard us except Hawken. He looked right away. Seeing Chuck E. reminded me of your job in high school working at Chuck E. Cheese and wearing that germy sweaty costume! Remember?
A good time is worth a little crankiness to me later sometimes. And how come you never mentioned you worked at Chuck E. Cheese???!!
this whole post delights me- and it is Emmy's fav place to be ;)
