This spider lived in the corner of our house near our front
door for about a month. He would spin his web in different places every few
days, which looked like a LOT of work.
He made a fancy white zigzag above and below him each time.
One day he was gone. His web is gone now too. He was pretty to look at and
fascinating for the boys to examine. We miss you scary spider, I hope you’re not in our
house.

Sure looked like a big one!
We had that exact same kind of spider outside our house in Mississippi, years ago now, but I still remember the web and how huge the spider was. It also disappeared one day and I hoped it wasn't in my house - I never found it.
