zoo trip

We went back to the zoo with grandma Stacy. First stop, flamingoes. They were fighting, which I thought was weird. I think of flamingoes as fairly passive, or at least, I did, until I saw how crazy they get when they fight. :)

Stacy bought us annual passes last time she was here and this was our six month visiting, so we got unlimited rides added to our pass. That means we can have all the train and carousel we want until our year passes expire, HOORAY! Carousel ride #1 (and also, the first time Lullaby ever rode it):

Please note in the very back of this picture in between Paul and Hawken, is Matix, riding his tiger backward. He is always trying to get away with something when he thinks no one is looking...

We also did some of the zoo-y things too, like look at animals. :)

Matix's class at school is the "owls" class, so he was excited when we got to see one at the zoo.

"Mommy, take a picture of me being a scary vow-ture (vulture)! I really so scary!"

Here is our sad attempt at getting a picture of grandma with her three grand-babies... They were all very pre-occupied with doing their own thing, so this is all I got.

Can you tell that these boys LOVE time with their daddy? We don't nearly get enough of it, even when he is in a relaxed rotation, like this one. :)
