Birthday Baby!

Sweet Sully boy turned 1 today.

Our baby is ONE! This is a big deal you know! Some things about Solace:

• He wakes up all throughout the night, STILL.
• He laughs and is happy 90% of his waking life.
• He walks along furniture and holding hands, but no steps on his own.
• He eats most things we try to give him, but prefers all his foods to be room temperature. 
• He wrestles with the big boys and loves it.
• He claps his hands.
• He climbs the stairs, but can't get back down.
• He is content with a toy for longer than most one year olds.
• He "talks" all the time, as if he were practicing being part of the conversation.
• He likes to be part of the group.
• He unloads the dishwasher almost as fast as I can fill it.
• He is a major momma's boy.
• He giggles, a lot.
• When he smiles really big, he makes a wrinkle on his nose, which is edible.
• He nurses more than lots of newborns do.
• He loves to play with cars and balls, what a boy.
• He likes to steal Lullaby's baby dolls, but just to get a reaction from her, then he laughs.
• He says "Ball", for balls and balloons.
• He unrolls toilet paper rolls, like it's his job.
• He waves hello and goodbye, only half of the time.
• He crawls FAST.
• His least favorite thing in the world, is to lay still for a diaper change.
• He makes monkey lips and breathes through his nose when he's frustrated.
• He can be LOUD when he isn't getting enough attention.
• He cries when he gets toys or food taken from him.
• He loves kisses and will return them.
• He loves to snuggle, but only with me or with Paul.
• He loves when Paul comes home and recognizes his voice from the other room.
• He does not love when Lullaby climbs in his crib and bounces him around.
• He has the bluest eyes, just like the others.
• His hair sticks up on top, even when I comb it down.

We seriously LOVE this baby. He is so sweet and funny and perfect.  He makes our lives so full and so complete. I don't know what we ever did without him. Happy Birthday big boy! We love you!!
