Almost a week after Claude left, Phil came up to Georgia to do his pediatric rotation and is
staying for us for the duration of those six weeks, rather than try to find a
VERY short-term lease. Phil was
our neighbor when we lived in Dominica and we love him and his family. We are happy to have him. He is the
best house guest ever. He stays on the futon in the playroom, which encourages
me to be sure the boys keep the playroom tidy. When Phil first got here we were all chatting about his last
rotation – psych. He told us about
this cool personality test they did with one of their doctors and so we asked
Phil to do it for us too.
He asked us to draw 4 pictures and then interpreted the different meanings of the details. It was so much fun and most of the stuff he got from the
pictures was RIGHT ON! It was crazy.
I am excited for when Paul gets to do psych, it seems very interesting
to me. If I were ever going to be a doctor, that is the kind I would like to
be. No blood and guts for me.
