The Lego build this month was the day before my mom got here and the kids were especially happy to build these darling little gingerbread houses to show her. Instead of building at the store, as we usually do, we got ours to go because of how epically long the line was. It turned out great and we had a normal dinner and got to build and still had time for some playing before bed. Time is a precious thing now that kindergarten has started, so we'll take all that we can get.

Those houses are precious! It amazes me what lego comes up with. What a fun project. (And I noticed Monk in the pic. :)
