The first day of December marked the last day of our garden. Although it was sad to tear down, we were so excited that it was still producing until just a couple days before when it started getting cold at night. Too cold for the tomatoes or green beans to grow anymore.
The boys picked all the remaining veggies, ready or not, to ripen indoors. We got a big bowl or green tomatoes and only a few green beans. The only things left in the garden were the carrots which Paul picked a few days later.

How fun to have such a bountiful and successful garden!
How sad that it's over, but what a great experience for the kids.
Yum! Did you know that Grandma's pickle relish is made with green tomatoes? Hmmm...
