Makua Beach is a fascinating one. When a Northern or Western swell comes in, the waves get really big. Sometimes half of them come sideways and crash together making for a big splash of water. Paul went out in it and caught a couple good waves before calling it quits after getting churned up a few times. The kids and I played on the beach.

That water is beautiful, but those waves crashing are scary. I hope Paul is always careful. I'd be on the beach too.
