We went up to the North Shore one day after school, in hopes of catching the tail end of the Hawaiian Surf Pro competition, but we missed it. The waves were still pretty big and there were still several surfers still out there braving the water, but it wasn't the actual competition. They start really early in the morning. We watched in awe! It was really great!
The kids even decided to boogie board a little bit with Paul. And of course, run from the waves. The Flores girls adopted Lee as a surrogate Grandpa. They met us up there.
I'm so happy that Paul is a fun dad. He makes life so awesome for these kids.

That was so exciting to see people surfing the big waves. And yes, Paul is such a fun Dad. Your kids are so lucky.
