Our community does fun things pretty often and one of the times, it was a pool party. Everyone is invited and it's free. Can't beat that! A REAL mermaid came, they filled the pool with 100 beach balls, 20 extra large beach balls, and 10 swans. The kids loved it and we stayed there until it was dark! Lullaby wore her mermaid swim suit in preparation for meeting the real mermaid. She was very nice and let the kids touch her tail.
Matox and Hawken found friends right away and ran off with them, but they were usually climbing on one of the giant swans. They were HUGE!
The mermaid got lots of attention from Sully, who was mesmerized. This was SUPER exciting to him.
She waved goodbye like this. All the kids nodded along, yep, that's how mermaids say goodbye.
We kept playing after she left. It was super chaotic, but they loved it. We love this community we found!

WOW, I'm impressed with the mermaid. She really looks real. I love all the bright colored balls in the pool. What fun!
