Hawken had a pool party for his first birthday, and being a December baby, I thought it especially fun! :)
Tons of other kids were ALSO celebrating their birthdays on the 3rd as well. Here are all the birthday kids together (minus Paul) :)
We didn't do any games, we just swam. The kids got to decorate their own cupcakes too. I made Hawken his own cake (it was a truck) that he could dig into and make a mess with. It looked pretty cute until the Dominican heat melted the frosting... Oh well.
After Hawken had a few bites, we set it down so all the kids could get to it. They thought that was pretty fun.
Family picture. As usual, not everyone is looking at the camera. Hawken had a fun 1st birthday and we are so happy we could share his special day with all his Dominican buddies. :)
