The Ritz family

Paul stayed up late chatting with the Ritz's, mostly getting parenting tips. :) Their 6 children were SO well behaved. In the morning we went to the parade. In this part of the country they celebrate the pioneers march to this area on the 24th of July. They have a parade and everything. The kids were so excited that it was another "candy parade". :) Of course it was, and they each ate their own weight in lollipops.

There were a lot of very clever and weird floats in this parade. We saw kids in a dumpster train, tons of horse draw carriages, rodeo queens, and people who have spent way too much time in a bobcat.

It was hot though, and we needed to get on our way. So we took a quick family pic, and then one of Paul with Eric before we left.
Thanks again to the Ritz family for the wonderful time. I wish it could have been longer!!

Oh great. Now when Louie sees that video clip, he'll want a bobcat!
