We left Sandy Utah and headed to Taylor Arizona on July 22nd to visit the Ritz family. The drive through southern Utah and lunch stopping spot was less than spectacular... With the exception of seeing a couple of the arches near Moab.
The boys, as always, slept well for their naps.
While driving through a little town on our way, we found the real life Mater!! It was SO SO exciting for the boys. They wanted to ride in him, and stay and play all day. Too fun!

Finally we got to Taylor!! The Ritz family was SO welcoming. Matix was excited to finally see "bruder Lips" (brother Ritz). We had dinner at their house with their 6 kids ranging in age from 18 months to 10 years. So fun! The dad of the family, Eric, was Paul's young men's president in church when he was in high school, whom he respects a lot. They have a farm too, full of animals and great places to go adventuring.
We slept great that night thanks to Rand, their oldest boy who gave up his room for us. Thanks Rand! :)
